PRE-OWNED GOLF CARTS AND UTILITY VEHICLES

SportsTran carries a broad selection of pre-owned or used golf carts and utility golf carts and utility vehicles for a wide variety of applications.

The first thing that people generally wonder is, where do all of these quality pre-owned golf carts and utility golf carts and utility vehicles come from?

There are two primary sources for pre-owned golf carts and utility golf carts and utility vehicles:

I. Golf carts and utility vehicles that have been leased by a golf course or a commercial customer, or
II. Trade-in golf carts and utility vehicles from customers that are upgrading to newer models.

I. Off-Lease Golf Carts and Utility Vehicles:

As an authorized Club Car Dealer, SportsTran has access to purchase golf carts and utility vehicles directly off of golf courses and other leases. SportsTran services over 60 courses and a multitude of private, commercial and industrial accounts. We strive to maintain our customers' satisfaction during their use of the vehicle by analyzing and assisting with periodic maintenance procedures and providing timely warranty repairs to the customers we service.

At the end of the lease, typically 3 or 4 years, our customer will either purchase or leases new golf carts or utility vehicles, and we have the option to purchase the pre-owned vehicles. We are confident in quality of these golf carts and utility vehicles because, many times, we have provided the necessary service, maintenance and repairs over the course of the vehicle's life. Generating a healthy supply of quality pre-owned golf carts and utility is a critical success factor that allows SportsTran the opportunity to provide exceptional pre-owned golf carts and utility vehicles to our customers.

II. Trade-In Golf Carts and Utility Vehicles:

The next method for procuring pre-owned golf carts and utility vehicles is on trade-in. Most people are familiar with the trade-in process at an automobile dealership. This typically occurs where the customer wants to purchase a new vehicle or different type of vehicle than they currently own, and they wish to obtain funds from the disposition of the old vehicle towards the purchase of their new vehicle. SportsTran routinely purchases golf carts and utility vehicles as customer trade-ins. We offer trade values for about 45% of the quotes we prepare, and have a steady stream of used golf carts and utility vehicles being generated from vehicle trades alone. The trade-in process allows us access to other brands such as E-Z-Go and Yamaha vehicles and other models that are not traditionally leased.
